I have an old Paragon. Do I need to apply more silver paint on top if some of it has come off?

You have a 1970's vintage Paragon kiln. We sprayed a silvery-gray paint on the top of the lids. We discontinued painting the lids in 1980.

The paint protects the lid from spilled liquids such as Coke. As long as you don't spill anything on the lid, you do not need to worry about the condition of the paint.
