FAQ/Answer

Why do you ship the larger kilns in wooden crates? Your competition ships their kilns in cardboard boxes.

Some of our competition uses palleted cardboard boxes with expanded foam corners. Freight carriers prefer wooden crates to cardboard boxes, because wooden crates can be stacked during shipping.

Wooden crates protect the kiln better than a cardboard box should something bump against the kiln during shipping. Our crating lumber also is certified bug-free so we can ship kilns anywhere in the world.
